Finally went to Pt.Lobos and we picked a really bad day. The visibility off the boat ramp was five feet. Out in the sand channel it went up to about 20 feet. We dove to 50 feet then turned around. When we turned to come back in the outgoing current was really pulling. Monastery and Lobos were really blown out and no one else was diving. They said we were dive team #1, but I think we were more like dive team 1/2. We're going back soon. We went to Breakwater for the second dive and after the wind came up the swell really got going. No way you could just walk back out- we had to do the Monastery Crawl to get out. Real rough day overall.....but we had fun. That's diving.
