It was great to get my gills wet again after a layoff. It was made even better to share it with chill buddies Marshal and Moe.

We hit Heisler Park as the CDIP Nowcast Wave Height Graph was using the .5 scale, a sure sign of low swell.

Surface conditions were excellent,...except for the heavy marine layer and 1-2 foot rollers hitting the beach in defiance of the CDIP Nowcast.

Out on the reef conditions were good, viz 10-20+, better the farther you went out.

Fish were kinda scarce, but I did spot one of those small, flat, yellow spotted nudibrachs Phil Garner frequently points out on PV reefs.

Divemetrics: 40 FSW, 52F, 44 mins.

ps. I'll be hosting a equal cost share wreck and rig dive trip on the Giant Stride in April. Text me if you would like the details.
