The Conchologists of America convention is being hosted by in San Diego by the San Diego Shell Club. The main event is open to the public starting at noon on Saturday, September 1st. There will be shells displayed from all over the world. Some are extremely rare. The event will be held at the Sheraton Hotel & Marina, 1590 Harbor Island Drive. San Diego, CA92101. FYI The San Diego Shell Club is dedicated to conservation with responsible collecting and preservation of the marine environment.
