Extending offshore from Rocky Point are long stretches of reefs dropping into deep water. One of Merry's favorites is a spot she calls Worm Reef. While I was shooting wide angle along the walls, Merry was exploring the top of the reef, where she found worms and nudibranchs aplenty. The walls are somewhat bare compared to other reefs in the area but the fish seem to like it. In the Spring, Yellowtail and White Seabass congregate here.

The top of the reef has palm and giant kelp where you can find tiny critters as well as large Sheephead patrolling the area. 33° 46.266N 118° 26.058W
