Squeezed In Another Dive |
Posted by Max Bottomtime on March 05, 2019 at 14:31:15: We had another small window between storms to get in some diving this morning so we made a short trip out to the barge off Redondo Beach. The wind and swells had already picked up by the time we surfaced so I was glad we didn't venture far from home. Visibility was excellent at twenty-five feet, but there wasn't much to see. There were no octopus nests in any of the usual spots. There was a large scorpionfish sitting on top of the barge but I had a macro set-up today. I found five swimming file clams, Limaria hemphilli under a piece of rust, but the usual critters were gone. No simnia snails, no yellowfin fringeheads and only a few species of nudibranchs.
