CHAMBER DAY & CHAMBER EVE 2019 - WEDNESDAY, MAY 1 - SAVE THE DATE!!!

Wowie-zowie, we jumped past $60,000!!! ($62,865 to be exact.) And this one strikes near and dear to our hearts for a number of reasons.

It’s all due to a single anonymous donation ($6,000 - Platinum) in memory of Dr. Jeff Sipsey, the Medical Director of our Chamber for most of its history. Jeff started with the Chamber in 1976, during his residency at LAC+USC Department of Emergency Medicine, and eventually moved into the Chamber's Medical Director position until his retirement in 2014. He had a wonderful bedside manner and could put an injured patient at ease within moments of their meeting. A non-diver himself, Dr. Sipsey had more "dive" time from examination dives he did in the Chamber, than many of the patients he treated.

This donation highlights a number of things: (1) You can tag your donation to honor someone’s memory, (2) You can do it anonymously if you like (just so indicate in the comments section), and (3) Big donations really leap-frog us ahead towards our goal.
