After having a nice dive last week, Merry and I hoped to make a couple more while making a fuel run today. Our first dive was at the one-mile outfall pipe off El Segundo. It was dirty and the surge made it difficult to photograph anything on the pipe. I spent most of the dive in the sand mucking about.

After filling up with very expensive gas in Marina del Rey we motored back south to Golf Ball Reef. The surface water was blue, but the reef was in the middle of a dusting. Sand was flying across the reef, reducing visibility to about twelve feet. We had thirty feet vis there last week,
