Absolutely. End of an era. Eric can find great conditions on the backside of an island in terrible weather, many times most of the boat would not even know the weather was bad. He's taken me so many great places, so many hidden reefs at ever island, at one time or another he has made every one of the islands my favorite. The west end of anacapa, wading in the shallows on the north side of Cruz, with the boat in like 10 feet of water. A ridge east of Nic. The canyons of Miguel. So many spots at Barbara: little caves, big caves, free diving in the kelp with a turtle. Tanner. One flat day at cortes, camped at the wreck. We spent the night there, Steve made poached eggs the next morning, poached eggs at Cortes. Was hoping for many more years of it, but I'm so glad I got what I did, so many trips of a lifetime, and so many great friends.
