This one starts off with a YOWSER!!! . . .

That comes in the form of a wonderful $5,000 Platinum donation from Cyd Yonker. Cyd not only is willing to donate her money to support the Chamber, but she also donates her time as a Chamber Crew member. On top of that, she’s the perfect example of how much corporate matches can mean to us because the company she works for, E&J Gallo, will match her donation dollar-for-dollar. So if your company has a match program, realize how it can double your Challenge donation.

We also have excellent and generous examples today of “In memory” donations and we’ve got three from Susy Horowitz (who also happens to be a member of our Chamber Day Steering Committee). She starts off with a $500 Silver donation in memory of the divers we lost on the Conception fire, and then she continues with a pair of $250 Bronze donations, one in memory of her longtime dive buddy Pat O’Brien, and the other in memory of Bonnie Cardone. Susy’s generous donations are a reminder that you can designate your donation of any amount to be in someone’s honor or memory and we’ll list both their name and yours.
