It just became a Fabulous Friday . . .

There’s nothing quite like a $5,000 donation to perk up your day and this one certainly perks up ours.

Beach Cities Scuba, who is not only a longtime and generous supporter of Chamber Day but also whose Director of Operations – D.J. Mansfield – is a key member of our Chamber Day Committee, told us late yesterday that they were raising their usual annual contribution from $1,000 (Gold) to $5,000 (Platinum). Especially in light of the uncertain times that we also a nation, let alone any individual business operation, are facing, this is a very generous and much-appreciated move.

We know not everyone has an extra $5K that they can direct our way. (But if you do, please don’t be shy.) But the point is that now perhaps even more than ever, we need not to shirk from our duty as divers to support our Chamber. When things get back to normal – and they will – our Chamber will be there ready for you. And all of those $100, $500, and whatever-you-can-afford donations really do make a difference.
