We’ve crossed the $50,000 threshold!!!

The latest group to help us hit a benchmark total is our good friends out at the Antelope Valley Desert Divers in Lancaster. They may be a long way from the ocean, but they truly understand the value of having our Chamber available to us 24/7/365. They once again have made a Platinum level donation of $5,000, which was presented last night during their monthly meeting which was held via Zoom. (We thought we had a screenshot of club Prez Jeff Carlon holding up the mock check but it didn’t work out as I had hoped.) We truly appreciate the hard work they put in all year for their fund-raising (they support other worthy scuba-related groups as well) and are grateful that were one of the recipients of their generosity.

Whether it’s helping fund our Chamber or fighting COVID-19, we’re all in this together. One of the great themes coming out of the COVID-19 fight is that we should do all the mitigation measures not only for ourselves, but to help protect others.

That same thought applies to supporting our Chamber. Do it not because YOU might need it someday, but make a donation to help protect others and make sure our Chamber stands at the ready when someone else is in need.
