Took the Fish & Dive to Cambria rock yesterday. Rigged up and dropped down to 45 feet, Couldn't find my pressure gauge so took my bc off on the bottom. It was stuck between my bc and tank. Somehow tore my mouthpiece out and the reg free flowed. Took a big gulp of saltwater and jammed the other reg in and cleared it. The free flow stopped then and I was good, so I put the bc back on and had a real good dive. My question is did the free flow blow out my mouth piece or did I tear it out causing a free flow? I wouldn't think losing a mouthpiece would cause a free flow. Maybe I got the reg in the sand and that caused it. It was my fault for not checking all my stuff while I was tethered to the boat.I got in a hurry. Good reason to always take the pony tank while diving alone. Anyway, that's a hell of a good dive..... BX
