Posted by Max Bottomtime on September 22, 2020 at 22:19:52: The annual brush fires spread ash over the Southland this month, including over the ocean. I don't know if the ash fed plankton, but we're having another heavy bloom off Palos Verdes. I had ten feet visibility at Golf Ball Reef this morning. That was the good dive. At Kevin's Reef it was a hazy five feet at best. The Felimare californiensis I found over seven weeks ago was spotted by Merry in the same area we left it. The only other highlight was the largest Okenia rosacea, Hopkin's Rose I have ever seen. Golf Ball Reef photos; Kevin's Reef photos;
