Merry and I enjoyed a nice Christmas morning. The Redondo Pier camera let us know it was time to dive.

We headed to Golf Ball Reef on glassy seas and had a pleasant dive with twenty feet of visibility. The usual suspects were out, including a school of barracuda whizzing past during my safety stop.

We made one long dive, had a cup of hot cocoa, and basked in the warm sunshine while taking in the view from Pt. Dume to the snow-capped Mt. Baldy. We pulled back into the slip and began putting everything away when the boat, a.k.a. the gift that keeps on giving presented us with electrical issues that I hope to have ironed out tomorrow. If the ocean is still flat in the morning I may push my luck and get in another dive before the real work begins.
