I can’t believe I’m saying this but . . . We’ve passed $75,000!!!

Today’s update also shows the impact of a large donation because we have our first Diamond-level donation this year in the form of a wonderfully generous $10,000 donation from Glenn Suhd. Glenn does a lot of diving abroad but also still dives locally (as well as works as an Education volunteer at the Aquarium of the Pacific) and he has always supported the Chamber and Chamber Day at lower donation levels. Due to some changes in his life lately, he wanted to make a bigger impact and has decided this was a good way to do it. We concur and thank him for his vision and generosity.

We don’t expect that many people can make a $10,000 donation (but we’re quite happy to take it if you can). But the point is that whether it’s $10,000, $1,000, or $100, your Chamber will put that money to good use. And by “good use,” we mean it will help us stay at the ready 24/7/365 in case YOU (or your friends) have a diving problem requiring recompression. It’s like insurance: You hope you never need it but you’ll be glad to have it if the time comes.
