We’re closing in on a new record for the Challenge. We set a record last year with $89,160. Can we beat that this year??? The answer lies in YOUR hands. In this update, we’re pleased to acknowledge the support of Deep Blue Scuba & Swim Center in Long Beach with a Silver-level $500 donation. They’re longtime supporters of this event and are also a good example of a dive business supporting the industry it serves.

We’re inside of four weeks to go and this is when the pace starts picking up. And while we’re in a good place right now with the Challenge, we want to remind you that not only does Chamber Day as an event provide around 50% of the funding for our Chamber, but it’s always prudent to have an extra financial cushion if possible. That helps us cover unanticipated major expenses like a few years ago when a compressor went down and had to be replaced.
