IT’S A BRAND-NEW CHALLENGE RECORD!!!!

Wow. Never in our wildest dreams did we think we’d be able to eclipse last year’s record-breaking Chamber Challenge. But we have. And now the question is: How high can we go?

Patience has never been my strong suit so when I talked to Karl this morning to see if any donations had come in following our FaceBook Live webcast yesterday, I suddenly realized that I had yet to make our annual Reef Seekers Dive Co. contribution. So I’m quite happy to say that that $500 is what pushed us into new-record territory. (The old record was $89,160.) Let’s not stop now.

This is a good time to point out that when it comes to funding our Chamber, there’s no such thing as “too much.” It’s nice to have a cushion in case something major, like a compressor, goes down. It also means that we’re replacing the revenue we lost by not being able to teach classes or organize training workshops at the Chamber campus the past year due to COVID restrictions. So all of these funds will get put to good use in helping keep pour Chamber at-the-ready 24/7/365.
