Dove Morro Bay a few days ago. Wacky tides but not a bad dive for the low- high tide. Viz 10 to 15 feet. Not many fish there these last few years....sea otters? It was good to get into the water. It's been a hard year for diving. Every time I look at conditions its windy...Monterey included. This Friday we're taking the kayaks out of Cambria and I'm taking dive gear....we'll probably go north and hopefully find some good water. It's a little less sharky there. A few weeks ago went kayak fishing in San Simeon and there are still elephant seals all over the little beaches. The big males are gone but the others don't seem to like us much. Man... that's a sharky place to dive with all those seals in. They should leave sometime soon....I guess. I dove it last November and there was fish everywhere....all kinds and a lot of them...even caught a big sheepshead on the camera.
