The ocean picked up a bit since yesterday, giving us some surge and a lot of sand in the water at Golf Ball Reef. It would have been a stellar dive if not for the surge. Visibility was at least twenty feet and I found a tiny Thordisa bimaculata. I've only seen a handful in over thirty years of diving around Palos Verdes. Red algae is covering the reef. Merry found a well-camouflaged red Cabezon but I missed my shot.
