Hi Ken. Not vets, and actually not the pier either. This is for the hard scape which is mostly north of the pier. Includes the international boardwalk, the buildings )mostly restaurants) and flat parking lot north of the pier, the existing hand launch, likely addition of a boat ramp, the condemned sport fishing pier, and what to do with moonstone park, a pleasant but unimproved lot of dead grass at the west end of mole B, the central mole.

Big question include, what would you like to see added? Better accommodation for sport fishing and whale watch boats? That could include a dive boat. Better launching facilities for big kayaks etc? Maybe a marine educational facility? Etc.

The goal of this phase is to generate a layout for the area, including what buildings are in bad shape and need to be removed or rebuilt, what if anything new should be built. Hopefully with a lot of public input and buy in. After that the city will figure out how to make it happen. I think a lot of small stuff, like improvements to the walking path, signage, landscaping, benches, can be done relatively easily.
