What a nice leap in the last 24 hours. $6,000 higher than yesterday, and all due to two donations.

The first is a Platinum donation from the trio of Mike Emmerman and Pat Stockhausen, along with their son TJ. They are longtime supporters of our Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber. Mike is especially attuned to how special our Chamber is because his specialty is disaster preparedness and emergency response. So he certainly understands, and is willing to support, the critical role our Chamber plays is providing a safety for SoCal divers.

We also have today a Silver donation from Ron & Angi Burkard which is matched by Angi’s employer, Phillips 66/76. This is a great example of how you can not only support our Chamber but if your company has a matching grant program –and many companies nowadays do – then you can double (or even in some cases triple) the value of your donation to our Chamber because your company will match your generosity as a way of encouraging their employees to give back to their respective communities.

So there are all kinds of ways to help our Chamber but you don’t do it by just sitting idly by. The Chamber Challenge always plays a major role in the final tally and we hope we can have another record-setting year, but we can’t do it without you.
