CHAMBER DAY & CHAMBER EVE 2022 - EVENT UPDATE "F" (as of 4/17/22 @ 9AM) |
Posted by Chamber Day 2022 on April 17, 2022 at 09:56:21:
It’s Easter Sunday so our Chamber is closed in observance of the day . . . NO, IT’S NOT!!! Our Chamber is available and at the ready 24/7/365. It’s open on holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and any other day that a “normal” business would be closed. 99% of the time, there’s no need for anyone to be there. But when that 1%-of-the-time emergency hits, the dedicated crew jumps into action. And since we can never predict when that time will be, we have to be ready-to-go 100% of the time. And while we are 100% committed, we only ask you to commit once a year. This is that time. Our Chamber relies on fund-raising efforts for a majority of the operating budget and Chamber Day is a major source of those funds. So we come to you once a year and ask for your help. And even if you don’t dive in California as much as you used to, or maybe even not at all, our Chamber still needs your help because there are plenty of other people who still dive our wonderful waters who potentially might need our services. And especially when you realize that many people haven’t been diving much – or at all – during the last two years due to the pandemic, 2022 could see a rise in the numbers of divers needing Chamber treatment as those divers return to the sport and maybe make mistakes, due to inactivity, that they wouldn’t have made previously. So don’t you make the mistake of thinking there will be other people who will help cover our expenses and you don’t need to. We need every dollar we can get. And with just a little over two weeks to go, time is running out. So, to continue the Easter metaphor, hop on over to our website and donate whatever you can. Below is a list of all of the components of the event and the current counts. Choose the ones that appeal to you and let’s keep our Chamber financially sound. The direct link to our sign-up page is: https://usc.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cTKwbhUykVzL95Q All attendees must conduct a self-health screening prior to attending. If you have any symptoms or are currently in your isolation/quarantine period due to a recent infection or exposure, you may not attend. While masks are not required for this event, we ask that you consider wearing one for your own protection and the protection of others. Note that these protocols are subject to change. (Please remember it takes a few days from when you sign-up until your donation is fully processed so there may be sign-ups in the pipeline that are not reflected below.
