At Crystal Blue Resort, Anilao, Philippines


Getting ready for a blackwater dive. Edgar Atienza was a guide for the other group that night.





Striped boxfish on the run.


When disturbed, smaller fish curled-up their tail, presumably to make themselves look smaller.


Larval snake blenny, Xiphasia setifer



Squid from the family, Loliginidae.





Based on the presence of two body muscle bands, this may be the salp, Pegea confoederata.



Mating sea angels, Hydromyles globulosus


This is so distinctive, but I can't find the ID.
