Yes. I always crack up when my buddies say there's no fish there. Tons of fish down there. The smaller elephant seals have left our small launch beach so it seems a little safer out there. We launch the kayaks about one mile south of the Cypress Tree turnout. It's a lot of work getting out there in the kayak, but it's usually worth it. I wear a 3/5 two-piece wetsuit and use a steel 72. That yellow anchor line is my best friend. The card in my camera didn't work this time.... There was almost no viz to 55 feet, but then I could see tons of fish from there to 70 feet. Crazy dive. Good to have my buddy around to keep an eye on things.
