A nice find off Lunada Bay |
Posted by Max Bottomtime on November 02, 2023 at 18:31:57: Merry Passage and I made two dives this morning. One was deeper than our usual dives, while the second was shallower than we normally dive. Our first dive was a rocky outcropping offshore from Lunada Bay. It was typical of Palos Verdes with sponges, rockfish, octopus, lobsters, and nudibranchs. The only surprises were a spawning Keyhole Limpet and a Noumeaella rubrofasciata, Red-Headed Aeolid. It's the fourth reef I have found them on. Our second dive was in the kelp off Haggerty's. We wanted to practice wide angle but the particulates in the water made it difficult.
