The ocean cooperated with us this week, so we dived Spongehenge at Hermosa Artificial Reef and the wreck of the Avalon. For only the second time in recent memory, we were skunked at Spongehenge. There wasn't a single Giant Sea Bass to be seen.

A slightly better dive today at the wreck of the S.S. Avalon. It was a VFR dive, Very Few Rubberlips. A cloud of Rubberlips usually hovers around the crane at the stern of the wreck, but only a small handful were there today.
