Merry Passage and I tried to dive Merry's Reef this morning but the current was a bit too brisk. We pulled our cameras back aboard and headed for Marineland. Merry got in the water first. I was just beginning my descent when I saw her coming back up. She reported two feet of visibility, so we climbed up the ladder and returned to Merry's Reef. By now, the current was manageable. Visibility on the bottom was only eight feet, but we were both shooting wide angle with 8-15mm fisheye lenses. The distortion always makes the visibility look better.
