Merry Passage and I dived the elevated pipe off El Segundo this morning. Usually a nudibranch haven, the surge, and dark water forced them into hiding. Feather duster worms have taken over the pipe, making it difficult to see the nudis and sponges. We spent 85 minutes scouring the pipe and came away with many photos, just not the ones I wanted.
