I've been taking many early morning walks rather than diving during what should be the best time of year in Southern California. Merry Passage watched the live beach cameras as the fog began to lift around noon. We rushed out for a quick dive at Golf Ball Reef. There was red tide between King Harbor and Palos Verdes, but we found an opening at GBR. Visibility was about eighteen feet.
