I have seen photos of Aquariums people had that looked like the ultimate tidepool, it was really cool, and I always wanted one, but don't have the discipline to take care of one. lol. Are you ever going to anchor your mangroves into the ground? How fast do yours grow?

I have mine in a houseplant-like way, they are in a pot, but I plugged the hole in the bottom, and I put a mixture of very rich soil and sand on the top to make it look nice. Anyway, they are growing very good now, but I have yet to see a stilt root, I will post a picture of mine though when I get a place to put it on the internet, if you would like to see it. If yours is indoors though, and is not in a very warm situation (more than 80 degrees air temp) another mangrove species that would work great is the Avicennia marina var. resinifera, they are the only temperate mangrove (although you could say the avicennia marina is)
