I really enjoyed Ross's dive report. I have also done dives off Roger's boat (ross's dive buddy). My first dive with him was a dark, cold, lobster-getting live boat dive. I loved it! I certainly wouldn't want someone telling me I should have built up some dives with him, or I should have checked his equipment, etc. Let me dive the way I want.
On the other hand, sometimes when you post on an open-bulletin board, you will get criticism. Sometimes its healthy. I would personally just ignore it if I didn't agree with it, or I'll tell the person that I'll do whatever I want. It certainly makes for lively discussions!
