My 17 yr old son and I are going to be traveling from the central valley to the LA area this Saturday for a Dodger game, and since the game isn't til 7:00, I thought it would be the perfect day for our first southern cali beach dive. We usually dive either on Catalina or at Monterey and aren't familiar with southern california beaches. Any suggestions? We are both PADI advanced/rescue divers, but have only been diving for a year, so we are far from advanced divers. Any comments or suggestions on where we might have decent viz and would be able to see some sights would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, both Matt and I love this bulletin board, and, although we don't post alot, we have a great time reading (and enjoying Elaine's fantastic pictures)
