They did come up there and did Cordell Bank.
The NorCal DIR crowd is more low-key than the SoCal
DIR bunch, so you don't notice them as much. But
mostly it's that there's not a lot of tech diving
on the North Coast, probably because the logistics
of getting all that gear out to deeper sites are a
pain (not many places to launch a boat).
