I have no sympathy for any hunter that leaves any animal for a slow painful death. He deserves whatever he gets.
Several years back I was up in the Crescent City area. I saw a very long dock there several hundred feet long. I am guessing at the length. Because a huge section of it was underwater or partially underwater. Weighted down by a huge numbers of marine mammals. There were no boats. Perhaps the marine mammals drove the boats away or perhaps this dock was designated as marine mammals only.
I know a lot of people like marine mammals. Still how many fish does a seal or sea lion eat. I do not believe the present marine mammal law. Is beneficial to the big picture of marine life. Let Fish and Game do it's job.
