I do pretty much the same thing, but once the salt water dries, as it will usually do on the boat trip back to the dock, you need to soak the gear a good twenty minutes to let the salt re-dissolve....then rinse with the reg on the tank and air on...
on the b.c., when you're on your final rinse of the inside, don't forget to depress your inflator button to backflush any debri/salt that may have gotten inside the inflation mechanism
