They seem to have some sort of head that is buried in the face of the fish and some tentacles or legs or something that hang out. Anytime I approach the BSB or a cleaner fish comes up, the parasite retracts those appendages back into the head. I'm not sure the cleaner fish can get at them since they seem to retract quickly.
I would love to know more about these things. Please speak up if anyone knows their name or has any more info.
