it sounds like the divers on your boat are helping to clear out the reefs.. unbelieveable, no wonder my friends on the horizon said there weren't many fish at san clemente.
why let them back in the water to dive if they break the law? sounds like a pretty weak punishment. How about they are not allowed on your boat again? With some pressure from divers other boats will follow suit.
I guess I was pretty naive as to how many fish were actually speared, I thought they were just getting 1 or 2 a day!
While I applaud you for taking steps to address the situation, the steps don't seem to go far enough...
were these divers issues fines by DFG? I'm sure you have their home numbers and addresses to give to the DFG?
