Thanks so much for the information. I'm just so saddened that the rumor is true. My prayers and thoughts are with the woman's family, especially her daughter. What a terrible thing for her to have witnessed, and to have to take with her for the rest of her life. You just wonder what could have caused both of them to have gotten into trouble down there. According to the daughter her step-father was a master diver (not sure of his exact certification), and they seemed very familiar with the park. I had seen them throughout the day and remember thinking that they really had a system set for organizing their gear, getting in and out of the water, etc. As we all know there are no gurantees when it comes to diving, no matter how experienced you are. What an incredible shame.
