This guy's defense is a total load, which I'm sure everybody on here already knows.
I hope they nail him on two major flaws in his excuse:
If the fish was "threatening him" and he shot it in self-defense, why was the fish speared in the side?
Also, why did he feel it was necessary to pull the shot fish onto the boat?
I know sometimes this board calls for its members to write the judges in cases like these, and I'd be happy to contribute on this one.
