The line to oblivion was an afterthought. Whe Claudette joined me for a dive yesterday we decided to head to the East reef after visiting the platform. I took the excess line and dragged it with me. It barely stretches to 10% of the way. I should have used that line to replace the surface marker. We put another marker on the old line today, but when I followed it up to empty it, it only came to within 18 feet of the surface. I think the one I placed there last week must have been hit by a propeller.
