I only dive mix. And if I am going out
on a boat that does not fill nitrox,
then I bring my own cylinders. I do confirm
in advance that they have the space. The captains
don't like to see me show up with four cylinders,

What if your surgeon said, hey, we can't
sterilize all the scalpals, it'll cost
too much.
If you look at most diving profiles, some
flavor of nitrox is the best mix for the dive.
Unless you are scubbing the bottom
of a boat.
