Your request is insane but I'll attribute it to lack of knowledge of our sport.. If you really feel as though you need to see underwater while on scuba without the benefit of proper training PADI offers a program called discover scuba, which is basically a quick review of gear and some basic skills. Then you get an escorted dive, I believe to 30', but I'm not sure, with an instructor.
If you go to Casino point in Catalina I know they do them all the time but I'm not sure what shops on the mainland offer it.
But take the advice of other's, this notion of just putting a tank on and doing a few does is nuts..
Ask yourself this, is your life worth a dive???
