hey, mike, my hubby and i did just that off casino
pt several years ago. that experience was my motivation
to go further and get certified--but i kid you not
when i say that i was scared SHITLESS from that
dive!!
it was my very first time, of course, but i never
was an ocean going person and the vis--OH MY GOD!!--it
was terrible (at least that was my impression) so it
added to the fear, naturally.
i honest to God thought i was going to die that day
and i could actually read the headlines from the news
papers in my head.

anyway, i'm glad i did that 'discover scuba' b/c
afterwards, the colors on land seemed to be brighter
and life seemed to be sweeter...
