Who represents the dive industry in Northern California?

I'm a business consultant and recently took up diving in Northern California which has become my second love. After dealing with some different businesses (dive shops, boats, etc.. who have all been great) I was wondering if there was an organization that all these businesses belong to.

There seems to be a lot of issues that can dramatically effect the environment and ultimately the industry itself. Not to mention the change in business landscape with the impact of the Internet, etc..

I've seen support for the environment from different individuals, but wouldn't it be even more effective to have an organization with members behind some of these efforts?
