I've never been there... but I have heard a few things
about it. It tops out at about 118 feet (I think).
It is east of Anacapa in the middle of no where.
Look at the standard topo map and you will see a small
rise, that marks it. No regular charter boats go there.
It seems to be an extremely dangerous dive spot. Of
the trips I have heard going there, there were usually
accidents or deaths. Now, admittedly, I don't think
that those trips were using what are current techniques
for deeper conditions, but there are a few factors that
make that a dangerous dive, not just the depth.
