Anacapa and Santa Barbara Island Diving

I live in the midwest and I'm diving the Islands this week and it will be my first time to them both. What kind of marine life should I expect and where is one of the better spots on these islands?
Please respond ASAP, I'm diving Wednesday and Saturday.
