Seahunt,
Your posts have been more about semantics and less about diving. I never said
It has been more
along the line of -
'diving the Yukon at all'
'must use NITROX'
I can go with what you have said with no
problem, but that is not what is being pushed
here by Michael.
This is total bullshit and I won't stand by while you distort my record. We can have honest disagreements about the issues, but I NEVER said that you *must* use Nitrox. I strongly recomended it, and I believe it's a viable medium.
Why not cut the crap and stay on the issue. I try to make sensible arguements and you guys are trying to turn this into verbal gymnastics.
I have suggested common sense approaches that you guys got all pissed off because it interfers with your personal freedoms.
But saying that someone should be oe trained to go into a oe isn't that far off the wall. Now you guys are arguing that *the wreck isn't that deep* nor is it an overhead environment..
There have been an inordinate amount of scuba deaths in the last couple of weeks, most from experience divers, why are you so afraid to look at those and learn from them???? Complacency kills and re-thinking an oe dive isn't a bad place to start.
