There was a WWII plane in Huntington Lake and I vaguely remember that parts of it were exposed several years ago in a draught. I used to hike in from that area. I don't know if it was salvaged or whether it's still there. I believe it was lost on a training mission. I'm sure the ranger station at Huntington has all the info.
