yeah, i said "may" take longer depending on how
nutrient rich that specific area is, but it may not
take much longer either.

the reason why i questioned the microenvironment is
b/c when i dove san diego several weeks ago, i dove
the 'ruby e' and then later in the day, the pt loma
kelp beds. WOW!!!!!! what a difference in water
temp!!!!!!!!!!!!! = : O

the 'ruby e' was ~55F or so at depth (~75ft) while
the kelpbeds at depth (~60-70ft) was at a whopping 43F!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no lie.

though the 'yukon' is w/in sight from the 'ruby e',
it's still quite a distance farther out, so there
may be a chance that the microenvironment is just that
much different where the 'yukon' is compared to
the other sites.
