ain't that the truth: a LOT of things are getting
old on this list.

i did read the entire thread, but whether there
was room for only one person or not, i still
am not convinced that 'FOR SURE the deceased
diver would have most definitely survived this
tragedy' <----- THAT is stretching it, why? b/c
there are no gurantees in life and making an absolute
statement that something for sure will most definitely
absolutely take place--or not take place--is putting way too much
faith in one thing. gee whiz, wasn't the 'titanic'
supposed to never sink?? (it doesn't matter WHAT
eventually caused its demise, the superboat that
was never to sink did.)

i don't mean to tick you off or raise your blood
pressure, but i just was not convinced by your
post paraphrasing and agreeing w/the comments of
the deputy sheriff. the bottom line is no one
knows for sure if the deceased diver would have
survived or not in the presence of a buddy. that's
all.
